Le Industrie Visive (The Visual Industries) is a one-man design company run by designer and artist Stefano Cossu.
After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari, Italy, Stefano went on to receive an MFA from the Kunstakademie (Academy of Fine Arts) in Stuttgart, Germany in 2000. Upon graduation, Stefano was employed as an in-house 3D modeler and animator for several companies in Germany and Italy.
In 2004 he started his own 3D graphics company, Le Industrie Visive. His clients have included Italian architecture studios, entertainment companies, and video artists. In 2005 he added web design and development to the list of his services to better serve his clients' needs.
After a move to Los Angeles, California in 2006 Stefano took active part in the web and multimedia market with video editing, 3D modeling, animation, and web development services for entertainment and design industries. His services included creative concepts and technical resources in web development.
In 2009 he moved to Chicago, Illinois, while maintaining collaborations with Italian companies.
Stefano Cossu is also an internationally established artist, having major shows in Italy, The United States, Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic with his visual art project Le Industrie Invisibili (The Invisible Industries). Currently, he is working with extremely lo-fi photographic imagery produced from his custom designed, hand made pinhole cameras.
